About ashley
Hey! I'm Ashley and as you can tell from my picture I love a good cocktail and am an Extension Specialist with over 6 years of experience! I've been in the industry for a while (like over a decade) and am co-owner of the coolest salon, Cedar + Mane Beauty Collective.
I've offered a lot of services over the years, but eventually came to realize my passions are doing hair extensions and doing brunette + copper lived-in color! It sounds so cliche, but extensions can be life changing for a lot of women, and nothing can match the feeling I get after seeing my clients gain instant confidence after a color + extension install.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to get a little more serious about my health and was able to have that reflected into my days behind the chair. I pride myself for choosing color and product lines that use less toxic ingredients while delivering amazing results!
Vibes and atmosphere are important to me, so while sitting in my chair you can expect your experience to match my personal vibe- laid back with a dose of boujee. I don't value meaningless small talk, but I do enjoy comfortable silence, organic conversation with a little bit of ridiculous conspiracy sprinkled in, all while delivering boujee, beautiful hair!
Outside of work you can often find my husband, Dave, and I down at our cabin in Southern Ohio, along with our two dogs! We have two of the most spoiled dogs on the planet- Henry, a Mountain Curr, and Maggie, a German Shorthair Pointer.
I think hobbies can tell you a lot about a person, so I'll share a few of mine! I've always been an avid reader, and while I don't get to do it as often as I like, I love getting lost in books and being able to temporarily leave my reality. I've recently discovered a love for baking, specifically anything sourdough related! I'm still learning, but have come to appreciate the dedication and creativity that goes into baking. I'm a big foodie and am super passionate about cocktails! I love classic, prohibition era cocktails- specifically cocktails made with gin! My two absolute favorites are a Gin Gimlet, served up or an Aviation!
